Our journey began with a simple idea: to connect children with nature while fostering confidence and friendships. With a dedicated family of outdoor enthusiasts, we create unforgettable experiences that empower kids to explore the great outdoors, learn new skills, and make lasting memories. Our commitment to providing a safe and enriching environment sets us apart, as we encourage every child to step outside their comfort zone and embrace the beauty of nature.

PEAKS was never meant to be just a program. It started as something much simpler—and much more personal.
It began with a mom who wanted to give her children something special. Not more screen time, not more structured indoor activities, but real experiences. The kind you remember forever. The kind that smell like pine trees, feel like sunshine on your shoulders, and end with tired, happy kids in the backseat.
Living near the Northern Sierra Nevadas, she knew just how much beauty was right outside her door—hidden trails, quiet lakes, winding rivers, and places that felt almost magical if you knew where to look. She started exploring them with her kids, one adventure at a time. No grand plan. Just curiosity, intention, and a desire to be present.
But somewhere along the way, a thought crept in:
If this is so special for my kids… why not share it?
Why not invite other families along?
Why not create a space where kids could explore, learn, and connect—with nature, with each other, and with themselves?
And just like that, PEAKS was born.
Not out of a business plan.
Not out of a market gap.
But out of love.
Love for her children.
Love for the outdoors.
And love for the incredible place we call home.
PEAKS—Play, Educate, Adventure, Kids of the Sierras—is an open invitation. To climb higher, wander farther, get a little dirt on your hands, and discover just how much wonder is waiting right here in our own backyard.
